Registration

Early bird registration fees for IAEG and Ingeokring members will range from €700 to €900. Final fees will be determined based on the level of sponsorship and the total number of participants. Generous discounts will be available for Early bird YEG members, PhD candidates, MSc/BSc students, and retirees who hold a valid IAEG or Ingeokring membership. A quota will apply to the discounted Early bird MSc/BSc students registration fee. Allocation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration will open in February 2026, and early bird rates will be available until three months before the congress kicks off.

For each approved set of submission (abstract only or abstract + full 3-8 pages paper), one (co-)author must register, and a registered (co-)author cannot represent more than two submissions.

IAEG Solidarity fund for low- and lower-middle income countries

We are pleased to announce that we have secured €20 000 for the IAEG Solidarity Fund, which will provide registration-fee discounts of 50–100%, depending on the number of applications received.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be based in a low-income or lower-middle-income country as listed in the World Bank 2025 classification

  • Be the presenting author of an accepted abstract or paper at the IAEG 2026 Congress

  • Be an IAEG member

  • Submit a reference letter from a supervisor or line manager or mentor confirming the need for support

  • Provide evidence of available funding to cover travel, accommodation, visa and other costs. This can be personal or via National Group, employer, or other support. To note: discounts may not cover the whole registration fee, recipients may need to pay the remaining amount. Registration fees cover all coffee breaks and lunches during the conference.

Visa (to ensure awards go to attendees)

  • Applicants who require a visa must indicate their visa situation and provide evidence of visa progress by the deadline (e.g. appointment confirmation or application receipt).

  • All presenting authors with accepted abstracts or papers who are based in low- or lower-middle-income countries will receive an invitation letter for visa purposes early, prior to registration payment.

  • If a selected recipient cannot obtain a visa in time, the discount may be reallocated.

Application review and selection

  • Applications will be reviewed by the IAEG 2026 Solidarity Committee and, if necessary, recipients will be selected by lottery.

Application details and deadlines will be published here soon.
