The festive event will be an inclusive celebration for all ages, featuring delicious food, drinks, music, dancing, and plenty of opportunities to relax and socialize. The YEG party will serve as the official gathering for the Young Engineering Geologists group. Meanwhile, WEG at Vermeer’s will offer a unique chance to explore Delft’s historic charm and reflect on Vermeer’s portrayal of the 'new woman' in 17th-century Dutch art. WEG is the group of Women in Engineering Geology.

Room sponsorship is available from Monday, November 2 to Thursday, November 5, 2026 and event sponsorship, for the day of the event.

GLOSSOP MEETING

The UK group of IAEG kindly offered to host its prestigious Glossop meeting in Delft during the IAEG 2026 congress. The meeting will be broadcast live.

EnGeOlympics support - € 2000

EnGeOlympics will be the inaugural competition for future makers at an IAEG world congress. Encourage student involvement by covering their congress fees, travel, accommodation, and other expenses! YEG executive board will allocate the waivers according to rules agreed with IAEG 2026 international organization committee. The IAEG president will present the winning team with € 1000 on the behalf of IAEG 2026.

to support participants from low or middle income country

The funds raised through this sponsorship will be contributed to the IAEG Low and Middle Income Countries Solidarity Fund assigned to the IAEG 2026 congress. The application and allocation procedures for both grants will remain the same.
